Who we are

Stevoli AI is operated by Lewis Mutch, based in Scotland, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at help.stevoli@gmail.com.

What data we collect

When you use Stevoli AI, we collect the following information:

Account information: your full name, email address, and a hashed version of your password when you sign up.

Course materials: the files you upload (past papers, syllabuses, notes) for AI analysis.

Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles this securely. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference.

Usage data: we store your course data, analysis results, and study plan progress so you can access them across sessions.

Why we collect it

We use your data to provide and improve the Stevoli AI service. Specifically: to create and manage your account, to analyse your uploaded materials and generate revision plans, to process payments, and to respond to support queries. The legal basis for this processing under UK GDPR is performance of a contract (providing the service you paid for) and legitimate interest (improving the service).

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Stevoli AI:

Supabase— hosts our database, user authentication, and file storage. Your account data and uploaded files are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.

Stripe — processes payments securely. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Anthropic— provides the AI that analyses your materials. The text extracted from your uploaded files is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not store this data after processing.

Vercel — hosts the Stevoli AI website.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account and course data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete a course, its files and analysis data are permanently removed. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at help.stevoli@gmail.com and we will process this within 30 days.

Cookies

Stevoli AI uses essential cookies only. These are required for authentication (keeping you logged in) and are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

Access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Rectification — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data.

Erasure — you can ask us to delete your data and account.

Portability — you can request your data in a portable format.

Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help.stevoli@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Stevoli AI is intended for students aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected data from someone under 16, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
